Gheorghe Asachi had many different hairstyles during his lifetime. He reached fame as an outstanding linguist, lithographer, poet, engineer, historian, architect, writer, painter, playwright and journalist. Nevertheless, the Romanian polymath was mostly known for his special sense of fashion and his charming personality.
